Today's issue of the Sandpiper Sun provided a details regarding our staffing next year. Unfortunately, we will have fewer teachers and larger class sizes. As I stated in the newsletter, I am confident that we will use our creativity and experience to continue to provide our students with the educational experience that they deserve.
If you have any questions regarding the status of our budget or its impact on Sandpiper, please don't hesitate to email or call me. It is important for our parents to have confidence in the future of Sandpiper, and that can only happen with accurate information and honest answers to questions.
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who provided input into our staffing for Special Areas. Reducing Special Areas is an obstacle in our efforts to offer a well-rounded experience that develops the whole child. These reductions are not easy, and I appreciate your support through this process. I will let the community know about the final decision on these cuts later next week.
Finally, if you have specific questions regarding our budget or staffing for next year, I will be holding a Principal's Forum on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 3:30 p.m.
